An easy five-step process...

I am not a web designer. I am an educator who uses webpages for education.

When I began creating a webpage for my classroom I stumbled through the process of designing and redesigning. Making mistakes and enjoying successes was my lot. I created many pages before I found a winning formula for myself. In these pages I set out the pathway that I take when putting a webpage together. It is the pathway that I took to actually create this page.

When you begin creating your first webpage you will be on a steep learning curve. Aim to stay on the ride, even when it gets rough, because the benefits of a webpage are great for an educator. I believe that a webpage is a much needed addition to my teaching tools.

Here is an overview of the steps...

Step 1: Why Are You Making a WebPage?

Step 2: Plan Your Page Out

Step 3: Get Everything Organized

Step 4: Create Your Webpage - Composer or HTML (editor)

Step 5: Getting Your Webpage Online
