The Climate Quilt
Campaign is a go!
The Climate Quilt Campaign is an effort to tangibly connect children
worldwide around the issue of Climate Change.The Campaign is designed
to empower youth, raise awareness, build global community, and be the
voice of children around the world who are pledging to do their part to
help save their planet.
Children
in every country and city throughout the world can get
involved through their schools or individually to have their pledge
patch included in the global climate quilt. Check out these links!
The
quilt is being displayed and celebrated at events around the world
including Copenhagen during the UN Climate Summit. The goal is to have
the finished quilt sewn together and on display in the U.S. to
celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, 2010. Check

The Go Green Club's last official club meeting
for this school year is on the day before Earth Day, April 21, 2010.
Club members will going outside to do
planting projects, cleaning up around the school, and enjoying the
spring air.
