From the Desk of Mr. LaFleur - January 19, 2012
DEAR PARENTS,
We have immersed the students into another exciting year of learning at Barka School. NWEA testing has been taking place in grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 and will continue for one more week.
GEOGRAPHY BEE:
The Geography Bee will take place on Friday, January 20th at 12:30 p.m.
POWER OF THE PENNY:
We are continuing to collect pennies through the Power of the Penny program. The proceeds from this very important program have provided meals, gas cards, and gift cards to local supermarkets for many of our Barka School families in need.
YEARBOOK:
It is time to order your child’s yearbook. If you are interested, please complete the order form that was sent home and return it with your payment of $6.00 made payable to Barka School. If parents have taken great pictures of the many activities at Barka School this year, please forward them to Ms. Ramsey, our yearbook advisor, at jramsey@derry.k12.nh.us so that they can be included in our yearbook. Order forms are also available in the main office.
