Welcome!
The
Barka Elementary School Reading Department provides workshops,
after-school programs, and supplemental reading support to
eligible students. Our goal is to develop in Barka students the reading
strategies and skills that will lead them to greater independence as
readers and a lifelong love of reading. We believe in a strong
partnership between students, parents, and classroom teachers.
