Welcome to Derry Village School Library where something interesting is always happening!
We have just finished our 100th Day. Hard to believe. I have several books about counting to 100 that our younger readers really enjoyed. They are definitely 100 days smarter!
We are now gearing up for Chinese New Year - the Year of the Pig (or Boar). The students are quite fascinated by the Chinese Horoscope and like to know what animal they are (many already know).
The BIG project beginning February 19 is the celebration of Read Across America. Mrs. Gilfeather has put together a great deal of activities for all the students. We encourage everyone to participate - it will be a lot of fun. Click here for more information on DVS' Read Across America.
